Pupil Support Assistant
Start Date: 2025-2026 school year
Work week:6.5 hrs per day; M-F
Student Level: Mariner Middle School
Salary : Per Paraeducator Agreement
Position Summary:
Instructional paraprofessional to assist with math interventions in the classroom under the teacher's direction. The position will serve students in grades 6-8, providing interventions in math. Responsibilities include supporting students in developing skills in assigned subjects, encouraging appropriate conduct, speech, attire, and other related tasks as assigned. Work is performed under limited supervision of the teacher.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED with moderate experience working with children, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An associate's/technical degree is preferred. Must be confident working with math through Algebra I.
Special Requirements:
Must hold at least an AA/AS degree or have completed 60 semester credits and pass the MN Parapro test.
Complete Blood Borne Pathogens training upon hire. Valid Minnesota driver’s license.
