Job summary

SME Careers, a subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, seeks a Punjabi Language Specialist (hourly, remote) to review AI-generated Punjabi content and create high-quality reference material. You will assess accuracy, fluency, tone, and cultural appropriateness, and provide precise written feedback.

You will write rewrites and model answers, rate multiple AI responses, and ensure language quality across registers and scripts, including Gurmukhi or Shahmukhi as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics required.
• Native or near-native Punjabi reading and writing required.
• Strong professional English (C1) to provide feedback in English.
• 3+ years in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, or education.
• Deep understanding of Punjabi grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI training content: prompts and gold-standard Punjabi answers across domains.
• Evaluate and rank AI outputs to improve fluency, tone, and cultural accuracy.
• Detect unsafe content, factual hallucinations, bias, and policy-risk language; validate reliability.
