Job summary

SME Careers is seeking a Punjabi Language Specialist (SME) to review and create Punjabi reference content for AI training. You will assess AI outputs for accuracy, grammar, tone, and cultural appropriateness, provide detailed feedback in English, and craft high-quality rewrites and model answers.

You must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, native Punjabi reading/writing, and 3+ years in language-focused roles, with strong attention to detail across scripts (Gurmukhi and/or Shahmukhi) and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Native or near-native Punjabi reading/writing required.
• Strong professional English (C1) to provide feedback in English.
• 3+ years in writing, editing, translation, or language-focused roles.
• Knowledge of Gurmukhi and/or Shahmukhi scripts and registers.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI training content with Punjabi prompts and answers.
• Evaluate and rank AI outputs for fluency, tone, and cultural accuracy.
• Identify unsafe or biased content and ensure model integrity.
