Job summary

OmniMax is seeking a Press Operator in Lancaster, PA. The role requires 6–9 months of relevant experience and involves loading coils, operating presses, and ensuring quality and safety standards on the first shift from 7am to 3pm.

Responsibilities include form/pack operations, filling out production records, and assisting forklift operations. Competitive benefits and a solid team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• 6–9 months relevant experience.
• Ability to use ordinary arithmetic in decimals and fractions, read specifications and charts.
• Judgment is required to plan, perform and decide setup and sequence of operations.
• Good attendance and performance record.

Responsibilities

• Load aluminum/steel coils onto vertical payoff using hoist/hook system.
• Manually tighten payoff.
• Visually assist forklift driver to load coils onto horizontal payoff.
• String up the press following safe practices.
• Produce from work orders and form/pack products.
• Seal cartons using various hand tools.
• Move finished cartons to pallets and wrap them.
• Resupply work area with pallets.
• Check product quality and correct labeling.
• Lubricate machines and refill lubrication devices as needed.
• Dispose of scrap as instructed.
• Maintain a safe, orderly work area.
• Enter time and production data accurately.
• Other duties as required by leadership.
