Kapco, Inc. in Grafton, WI is seeking a Punch Press Operator on 2nd shift or Weekend shift to support our growing manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has experience running mechanical, hydraulic, and/or servo punch presses and can handle heavy and complex parts with precision. Responsibilities include setup, quality checks, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating punch presses (mechanical, hydraulic, or servo).
• Ability to perform coil changes and maintain tooling.
• Capable of completing quality records and paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate complex and progressive tooling in a quality and rate conscious manner
• Perform coil changes
• Maintain equipment and tooling with use of appropriate lubricants
• Clean and maintain press area
• Perform quality checks using the proper measuring devices correctly during operation and complete quality records
• Stop production when quality issues are detected
• Complete appropriate paperwork, including labels, accurately and completely
• May require successful completion of Kapco's forklift certification program
• Other duties as assigned
