Job summary

K&S Manufacturing is seeking a Punch Press Operator for the 2nd shift (2pm-12am) in Wisconsin. The role involves operating stamping presses, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality and safety.

The successful candidate will work in a 100% air-conditioned facility, with shift differential and opportunities to assist engineering on prototyping projects. Responsibilities include setup (plus), daily paperwork, and adherence to 6S practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping presses from 150 ton to 800 ton.
• Read and interpret internal and customer drawings and work instructions.
• Use calipers, height gauges and gauges for production checks.
• Run production efficiently and collaborate with engineering on prototyping as needed.
• Complete and maintain shop paperwork accurately.
• Perform daily 6S duties.

K&S Manufacturing is a privately held, financially sound and growing company seeking Punch Press Operators to join our team. In business since 1974, we are a vertically-integrated leader in the field of metal fabrication. We are primed for continued growth and expansion through laser cutting, brake forming, robotic and manual welding, stamping, machining, and tool and die. This is a full-time position on 2nd shift (2pm-12am) including a 2nd shift, shift differential. Employees are stationed in a 100% air-conditioned facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate (setup a plus) part in part out, transfer line, and coil fed stamping presses from 150 ton to 800 ton.
• Work from internal and customer drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Be able to use calipers, height gages, and functional gages
• Be able to run production efficiently as well as working with engineering on prototyping projects.
• Complete and maintain accurate shop paperwork.
• Perform daily 6S duties.

Qualifications Required

• Ability to use caliper, height gage, functional gages, etc.
• Must have a solid working knowledge of blueprint reading and shop math.
• Possess a drive for achieving production, while focusing on safety and quality.
• Capable of working in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50-pounds.
• Must be reliable, and have good attendance.
