Job summary

KI USA in Berea, Kentucky is hiring multiple safety-focused, team-oriented Press Machine Operators for the 2nd shift. This role operates progressive, tandem and transfer stamping presses and seeks experienced individuals who can set up, operate, and maintain dies, machines and tooling to meet daily quality and press efficiencies.

Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in metal stamping and operating multiple types of stamping presses are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Safety: Lubricate equipment, perform basic maintenance, follow safety rules.

KI USA his hiring for multiple safety focused, team oriented Press Machine Operators for 2nd shift. This role operates progressive, tandem and/or transfer stamping presses. We are looking for experienced individuals who can set-up, operate and maintain die, machines and to meet or exceed daily quality and press efficiencies while maintaining a safe work environment. Candidates with at least 2 years of previous experience in metal stamping, operating multiple types stamping presses are preferred.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Setup & Adjustments: Install, align, and secure dies in the press. Adjust ram height, stroke speed, and pressure.
• Operation: Start machines and watch the production cycle to spot jams, tool wear, or misalignments. Operate equipment, load coils, inspect and unload parts. Accurately and timely complete all daily production paperwork requirements.
• Quality Inspection: Check finished pieces using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Maintenance & Safety: Lubricate equipment, clear scrap material safely, perform basic preventative maintenance and follow all plant safety rules. Fill out production logs and lot tags
