Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Overnight Machine Operator / Production Associate in Lancaster, PA. This contract-to-hire role supports production lines during the night shift, operating equipment, loading materials, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include setting up and running production equipment, handling coils with hoists, logging production data, and assisting with material replenishment as needed to meet manufacturing goals.

• Support additional production needs to help meet manufacturing goals.

Overnight Machine Operator / Production Associate

Schedule:

• Sunday night - Thursday night, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• Overtime (when scheduled): 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• Weekend overtime (when scheduled): Friday night, 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Load aluminum and steel coils onto production equipment using hoists, hooks, and established material handling procedures.

• Set up and operate production equipment, string presses where trained, and monitor product quality, feed length, labeling accuracy, and surface condition.

• Form, pack, seal, and palletize finished products while following production work orders and safety standards.

• Move, wrap, and transport finished pallets using forklifts and replenish workstations with materials as needed.

• Perform routine machine lubrication, dispose of scrap material properly, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Complete production documentation accurately, including timekeeping, work orders, and production data entry.

• Support additional production and operational needs as assigned by leadership to help meet manufacturing goals.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $19.20/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
