Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, install, and maintain pumps and lift stations in New Prague, MN. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes hands-on mechanical work, troubleshooting, and direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities include service checks, pump installation/replacement, service reports, and travel within assigned areas; opportunities for paid training are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to service mechanical equipment.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding fieldwork.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to meet DOT driver requirements and safely operate a CMV.
• Professional communication and customer-service skills essential.
• Ability to read and complete service reports and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform service checks on pumps using a crane-equipped service truck.
• Pull pumps, inspect for wear, change oil, reinstall equipment, and complete service reports.
• Deliver and install pumps at customer lift stations.
• Assist with lift station remodels, including re-piping and new equipment installation.
• Complete work orders with drive time, labor, parts, and notes.
• Communicate professionally with customers during service work.
• Make customer visits while traveling in assigned areas and attend paid training meetings.
