Sentry ND in Watford City, ND is seeking an experienced Pumping Unit Technician Foreman to lead a field team responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repair of pumping units across our oil and gas operations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, extensive field experience with beam pumping units, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence, with a proven ability to supervise, train and coordinate diverse crews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years pumping unit experience in oil & gas
• 2+ years leadership/supervisory
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
• Proficient in interpreting manuals, drawings, and specs
• Valid driver's license with clean record

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of pumping unit technicians.
• Lead installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of beam pumping units, including drive systems, gearboxes, and structural components.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, procedures, and environmental policies.
• Conduct field inspections and audits to ensure work quality and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and operations teams to optimize production and minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on proper procedures and safe work practices.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and parts inventory.
