Job summary

Panhandle Oilfield Services is seeking a reliable Pumping Unit Field Technician for Dickinson, ND. The role is 90% field-based, working at wellsites in extreme weather, with a strong emphasis on safety and hands-on mechanical work.

You’ll troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pumping units, assist with installations, operate company trucks, and complete required tickets and records. The position offers competitive pay and benefits, and requires flexibility for overtime and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of how equipment works.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred for enhanced operation.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to operate safely in field conditions and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing pumping units.
• Assisting with pumping unit installations with crane operators and rig crews.
• Operating commercial trucks and company equipment safely.
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Completing tickets, job reports, timesheets, and equipment records accurately.
• Reporting equipment issues and safety concerns immediately.
• Following all safety procedures and participating in Job Safety Analyses (JSA).
• Being available for 24-hour on-call rotation.
• Taking on additional duties as assigned.
