Clean Harbors in La Porte, TX seeks a Pumping Technician to support the pumping team and complete warehouse duties safely. The role involves pumping drums, operating forklifts, and handling chemical profiles while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with C Level PPE preferred.
• Experience with chemical profiles preferred.
• Experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, etc.
• 2+ years of related labor and computer experience.
• Ability to drive trucks within facility.
• Forklift skills preferred or willing to learn.

Responsabilités

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by following safe work practices, policies and processes.
• Load and unload route trucks.
• Wear level C PPE.
• Manually wash drums as required.
• Pump drums.
• Work with chemical profiles to identify matches to tankers.
• Operate forklifts to sort pallets and unload.
• Connect/disconnect tankers with camlock and hardlines.
• Manage inventory order and receiving process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Store waste safely and properly.
• Collaborate with office staff to resolve material issues.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Clean Harbors located in La Porte, TX is seeking a Pumping Technician to add to the team. The Pumping Technician for La Porte TX will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This position will wear C level PPE and work with the pumping team to pump drums. Will work in QC for chemicals, operating forklifts, manual labor, and inventory.

Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm. Monday-Friday. Overtime and Saturdays as needed

Pay: $21 DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;

• Manual labor of drum washing;
• Pumping drums;
• Working with chemical profiles to identify matches to tankers;
• Uses forklifts routinely to sort pallets and unload;
• Uses camlock and hardlines to connect/disconnect tankers;
• Manage inventory order and receiving process;
• General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area;
• Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner;
• Resolve issues with materials in conjunction with office team staff;
• All other duties as assigned.
