Job summary

Clean Harbors in La Porte, TX is seeking a Weekend Facility Technician to join the warehouse team. The role focuses on loading/unloading trucks, sorting batteries, preparing waste shipments, and maintaining inventory with safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related labor and computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload route trucks.
• Sort batteries.
• Prepare loads in the fuel area for shipments.
• Load trailers in the trailer loading area.
• Perform general housekeeping and facility improvements.
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center.
• Manage inventory order and receiving process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Ensure waste is stored in a safe and proper manner.

4 DAY WORK WEEK!!! Clean Harbors located in La Porte, TX is seeking Weekend Facility Technicians to add to the team. The Weekend Facility Technician for La Porte TX will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This includes loading/unloading trucks, preparing waste shipments, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping, and compliance with waste storage. This position will focus on loading. Position will start in the battery area sorting batteries, will learn the pumping and trailer loading areas once that area is mastered. During the winter will help with housekeeping projects in the facility which could include painting or other improvement items.

Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday- 10-hour shifts. 6:30am-5:00pm

Pay: $20/HR

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required;
• 2+ plus years of related labor and computer experience;
• Forklift skills preferred- or willing to get certified.
