Job summary

Avail Staffing Company seeks Marine Service Technicians to join a hands-on team servicing U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and commercial vessels. Travel to client vessels and worksites to perform service, repair, maintenance, and certification activities.

The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing actuator and valve systems, performing hydraulic ram overhauls, and ensuring safety on every voyage aboard ships and at industrial facilities.

• Conduct onboard grooms, equipment assessments, and RMVA installations.
• Test, inspect, and certify relief valves.
• Follow all company safety procedures and customer requirements while working aboard vessels and at industrial facilities.

Avail is seeking Marine Service Technicians to be part of a hands‑on, solutions‑driven team that services U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and commercial vessels. From electric and hydraulic actuation systems to globe and gate valve repairs, your work helps ensure vessels remain mission‑ready, reliable, and operational.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client vessels and worksites to perform service, repair, maintenance, and certification activities.
• Diagnose and repair actuator and valve systems, including:
  • Butterfly valves
  • Gate valves
  • Globe valves
• Perform hydraulic ram and cylinder overhauls.
• Conduct onboard grooms, equipment assessments, and RMVA installations.
• Test, inspect, and certify relief valves.
