Job summary

Liquid Process Equipment (LPE) seeks a Shop Service Technician/Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair pumps, valves, seals, motors and related equipment. You will perform machining, sandblasting, painting, and assemble pumps and gearboxes on new builds.

Travel within Wisconsin is required; forklift operation is needed. Must read orders and drawings, communicate effectively, and maintain safety. HS diploma or related experience preferred; field service exp. preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret work orders, drawings, IOMs and specifications.
• Experience working with rotating equipment required.
• Pump knowledge preferred.
• Willing and able to learn new equipment.
• Acceptable driving record required; Forklift operation required.
• Must travel within WI (limited overnight travel).
• Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments; communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail.
• Demonstrates superior client service capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Teardown and inspect rotating equipment; recommend parts, labor and failure analysis.
• Repair various pumps and valves per OEM specs with required parts.
• Complete training programs from key suppliers; maintain certifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment to determine cause of failure.
• Assemble pumps, valves, seals, and related rotating equipment in-house or in the field.
• Maintain tools and workstation; propose new tooling as needed.
