Job Description:

Note: To qualify for this role, you must be able to deploy and be on long-term assignment on Kwajalein Island in the Marshall Islands.

General Summary:

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment / Pump Operator to join the Parsons team based in the Marshall Islands. This role involves operating and maintaining concrete pump machinery efficiently and safely. Position Goals:

1. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure concrete pumps meet DOT regulations (checking brakes, fluid levels, etc.).
2. Fill water tanks before each project and ensure all valves are properly secured and shut.
3. Operate the pump safely, set up the system, and clean out the pump after use.
4. Drive concrete pump trucks to and from project sites responsibly and punctually.
5. Evaluate site conditions and coordinate with contractors or supervisors for proper truck setup.
6. Operate boom and concrete pump to place concrete accurately, following instructions.
7. Load and unload concrete pump attachments safely, using all tools correctly.
8. Clean concrete pumps daily to maintain good condition and minimize breakdowns.
9. Ensure all safety measures are followed before, during, and after projects.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (Class A or B).
• Experience operating standard and complex concrete pumps.
• Good understanding of construction operations.
• Manual dexterity and physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Balance and maneuverability around construction sites.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and clients.
• Effective communication skills for following and giving directions.

Education, Experience, & Licensing:

• OSHA Safety 30-Hour Certification.
• Minimum 6 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in the field or similar.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds overhead.
• Push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Sit or stand for extended periods.
• Workday shifts, including days and nights.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Relocate to Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.

Salary Range: $29.95 - $52.40 per hour.
