Job summary

Mantl USA is seeking a Pump Technician to join our Powell, WY team. You will inspect, assemble, disassemble, repair and maintain various pumps and related equipment in shop and field settings, following safety procedures and quality standards.

Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, replacing parts, testing equipment, documenting results, and supporting installations or customer service related to pump performance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in pumps, motors, valves and related components.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, work orders and basic drawings.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely in a shop or industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation of repairs and tests.
• Commitment to safety procedures and regulatory standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Pump Technician is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Powell, WY. This role is responsible for inspecting, assembling, disassembling, repairing, and maintaining various types of pumps and related equipment in the shop and potentially in the field. Day‑to‑day tasks include diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, replacing parts, testing equipment for proper operation, and documenting work performed. The Pump Technician will follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines. This role may also involve assisting with inventory of parts, supporting equipment installations, and providing basic customer support related to pump performance and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Technical aptitude with mechanical systems, including basic troubleshooting of pumps, motors, valves, and related components.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments safely and accurately in a shop or industrial environment.
• Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, work orders, and basic technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, including accurate documentation of repairs, maintenance, and test results.
• Reliability in following safety procedures, using personal protective equipment, and complying with company and regulatory standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with supervisors, co‑workers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment and parts, stand for extended periods, and work in industrial or shop conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or experience in mechanical, industrial, or oilfield maintenance is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed for equipment service or support.
