Job summary

Tencarva Machinery Company, LLC is seeking an Applications Engineer to translate customer needs into pump system solutions for industrial and municipal projects. You will size and select pumps, configure systems, and prepare proposals and BOMs for diverse applications.

Responsibilities include developing schematics and supporting documentation, reviewing contracts, and coordinating with vendors, customers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Applications Engineering or pump industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with pump hydraulics, pump construction, and system applications.
• Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and submittal requirements.
• Experience with CAD/ SolidWorks/ AutoCAD and ERP/order management tools.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements, specifications, drawings, and application data.
• Perform pump sizing, selection, and system configuration for industrial and municipal applications.
• Select supporting equipment and accessories based on application requirements.
• Prepare quotations, bills of material, and technical proposal packages.
• Develop schematics, layouts, and supporting documentation as needed.
• Review contract scope and specifications for compliance, documentation, calculations, and testing requirements.
• Support submittal development and technical review after award.
• Stay engaged after award to ensure the equipment package aligns with the application.
