Job summary

Ohio CAT is seeking a Pump and Shoring Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This role requires frequent travel to Ohio CAT locations and customer locations, with work performed from a service truck in various environments.

You will troubleshoot and repair diesel‑powered water pumps, HDPE pipe fusion, and temporary pumping systems while maintaining safe procedures. A willingness to study and learn new job‑related skills is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate minimum; college and/or continued education in a technical field are a plus.
• Ten years of experience related to construction or power equipment service and repair is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair general equipment, diesel-powered water pumps, HDPE pipe fusion, and temporary pumping systems.
• Set up electrical and hydraulic systems and perform normal machine repair in a safe manner.
• Work from an Ohio CAT service truck in the elements and follow manufacturers’ updates.
• Communicate clearly and follow technical manuals and procedures.
