Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a field service technician to check, troubleshoot and repair pump and valve equipment at customer locations across the Phoenix area. You will efficiently repair and rebuild varied equipment and use precision measuring devices and testing tools.

The role requires travel within the client territory, readiness to work extended hours, and the ability to read OEM manuals while maintaining safety standards. A valid driver's license and customer-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Competency in commercial/industrial plumbing, electrical, motor controls, and maintenance of pumps and rotating equipment.
• Confined Space Entry and First Aid certifications are a plus.
• Able to read OEM, instruction, and safety manuals.
• Committed to quality workmanship and doing the job right the first time.
• Knowledge of electrical and control circuits.
• Willingness to travel within client territory and reside near the company location.
• Experience with variable & constant pressure booster systems is a plus.
• Requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain administrative records.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to use precision measuring devices, testing equipment and tools.
• Travel throughout client geographic territory with the ability to stoop, kneel, climb and crawl in confined spaces and access customer premise restricted areas.
• Act as a technical consultant and liaison with customer management and counterparts while providing service and support to customer sites.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts necessary to minimize equipment downtime and maximize customer asset utilization.
• Observe all health and safety rules and regulations.
• Update and maintain administrative records.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

• Demonstrate competency in commercial/ Industrial plumbing, electrical, motor controls, repair and maintenance of pumps and rotating equipment.
• Confined Space Entry and First Aid Certifications are a plus.

• Reside near company location and willingness to travel within client territory.
