Job summary

Edwards is seeking a skilled technician to repair and rebuild vacuum pumps per manufacturer specifications. You will test equipment to meet quality and operational standards, document results, and prepare pumps for shipping.

Roles involve disassembly, measurement, and adherence to safety practices in a dynamic workshop environment. You'll gain experience with a variety of pump types, use hand and power tools, and participate in continuous compliance training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year in a mechanic or related role.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate a forklift and/or other heavy equipment if necessary.
• Proven history of working with hand tools and measuring devices.
• Proven history of working in a detail-oriented role.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, decontaminate, clean, and inspect a variety of vacuum pumps for repair.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, sand blaster, and enclosed pressure washing machines per safety standards.
• Take pictures of pumps and upload them to shared drives or Sharepoint.
• Read OEM manuals and engineering drawings; measure parts for conformance.
