Job summary

Sulzer Pump Services (US) Inc. is seeking an experienced pump repair technician to perform repair and maintenance of Sulzer pumps and other manufacturers’ pumping equipment.

The role requires adherence to customer, OEM, and industry specifications under limited supervision. Responsibilities include assembling, disassembling, inspecting, and testing diverse pump components, along with field installation at customer sites and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of pump repair experience.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
• Extensive knowledge and ability to use hand tools, precision measuring and testing equipment, and machine shop equipment.
• Ability to travel to work at customer sites when required.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Assembles all types of pumping equipment to customers, OEM, and industry standard specifications.
• Disassembles all types of pumping equipment to gain access to remove, clean, and inspect components.
• Removes, cleans and prepares all types of pumping equipment components for inspection.
• Inspects and records measurements of component parts to customers, OEM and industry standard specifications using measuring instruments and gauges.
• Performs final testing and inspection requirements when required.
• Performs customer site pump installation and other field tasks similar to those identified as Essential Functions.
