Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a skilled pump repair technician to maintain and repair pumping equipment for Sulzer Pumps and other manufacturers. Under limited supervision, you will follow customer, OEM and industry specifications, document work, and prepare inspection reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of pump repair experience.
• Ability to travel to customer sites when required.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Assembles pumping equipment to specifications.
• Disassembles pumping equipment for access and inspection.
• Removes, cleans and prepares components for inspection.
• Records measurements and prepares equipment inspection reports.
• Investigates root causes and recommends repair methods.
• Performs field service at customer sites as needed.
• Maintains tools and equipment in good condition.
