Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Pump & Power Technician 1 for its Shop. This role involves loading and unloading equipment, performing basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs to minimize downtime.

You will engage with a team that emphasizes safety and efficiency on the job site. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience with Power/HVAC/Compressor/Pump equipment and a basic understanding of generators, power distribution, AC and hydraulics.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience and/or familiarity with repairing and maintaining Power/HVAC/Compressor/Pump equipment
• Basic knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, Heater, HVAC, and Diesel driven Pumps; basic understanding of diesel equipment, electronics and hydraulics
• Operational process/system aptitude

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and perform basic preventative maintenance
• Carry out minor repairs in the safest and most effective way to avoid downtime
