Job summary

Onin Staffing is seeking a Pump Assembler in Illinois to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. You will assemble pump components, read blueprints, and verify tolerances using hand tools and fixtures.

The role requires attention to detail, safety, and the ability to use ERP tools, including SAP, to document production and inventory. Experience in material handling and forklift operation preferred. Weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Follow standard work instructions and safety requirements.
• Maintain documentation accuracy for part numbers and quantities.
• Support production flow by ensuring timely materials and assemblies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities (e.g., 5 Whys).
• Learn and use ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pump components using hand tools and fixtures.
• Fit and adjust parts to specified tolerances.
• Operate and adjust test equipment to verify performance and quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Identify defects or nonconformances and elevate as required.
• Review product and inventory documentation within a computer system.
• Confirm production quantities in SAP.
