Job summary

Iten Industries, Inc. in Ashtabula, OH is hiring a Pultrusion Operator for 2nd shift to set up, operate, and monitor pultrusion machines producing fiberglass or composite parts.

You will ensure continuous line operation, verify dimensions, and maintain quality while following safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Trains and works under supervision of an experienced press operator/trainers.
• Sets up and operates pultrusion presses.
• Obtains schedule and work orders to be used in production process.
• Prepares and releases materials for production.
• Performs quality checks on material.
• Prepares product for shipping.
• Operates tow motor when necessary.
• Assists other employees in the department with troubleshooting issues.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Job Description Summary:

04:00pm-02:15am and 06:00pm-04:15am shifts Monday-Thursday.

The Pultrusion Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring pultrusion machines used to produce fiberglass or composite materials according to production specifications. This position ensures continuous operation of the production line, maintains quality standards, and performs routine checks to verify product dimensions and integrity. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities and Qualifications:
