Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA) in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks a Pulsed Power Engineer to advance high-power pulsed power and RF systems for defense programs.

You will contribute to design, analysis, and hands-on hardware work within a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Physics, 2–4 years in pulsed power/power electronics, strong data acquisition skills, and readiness to travel; US citizenship and ability to obtain

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Pulsed Power, Power Electronics, High Power Switching, Applied Electromagnetics, High Voltage.
• Able to clearly communicate experimental procedures, data, and analyses on paper and in briefings.
• Must work well with others and manage time to meet objectives.
• Experience with data acquisition equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, network analyzers, probes, spectrum analyzers.
• Significant travel may be required (2–3 weeks in a row a few times a year).
• US Citizen with ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance.
• Light physical effort, up to 50 pounds.
