Diversified Technologies, Inc. (DTI) is seeking a Pulsed Power Engineer for Bedford, MA. You will lead hands-on design, analysis and testing of high‑power electrical equipment used in radar transmitters and related systems.

The role emphasizes an active team approach, self‑motivation, and the ability to work across design, fabrication, and testing responsibilities within a challenging, innovative technical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in electrical engineering.
• 3+ years of Pulsed Power engineering experience.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• U.S. Citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers and technicians to design, fabricate, modify and evaluate radar transmitters, high‑power modulators, and related components.
• Prepare design plans and part specifications.
• Conduct analyses and tests to evaluate new designs, materials and processes.
• Design and implement automation for pulsed power experiments.
• Model pulsed power dynamics and microwave interactions.
• Work with limited supervision and provide feedback to managers and coworkers.
• Review drawings prepared by technical support personnel.

PULSED POWER ENGINEER

Diversified Technologies, Inc. (DTI) is an international leader in the design and manufacture of high power electrical equipment. DTI seeks a Pulsed Power Engineer who is self‑motivated, able to take a lead role as an active team player (i.e., think, calculate, design, build, test) in our state‑of‑the‑art programs. DTI’s work involves the design, fabrication, construction, installation and testing of specialized, high‑power electrical equipment for industrial and government applications. Responsibilities

• Work with other engineers, technicians; apply engineering principles to design, fabricate, modify and evaluate radar transmitters, high‑power modulators, and related electrical components and systems.
• Prepare design plans and part specifications.
• Conduct analyses and tests as needed to evaluate new designs, materials, and processes.
• Design and implement automation for pulsed power and high‑power microwave experiments.
• Model pulsed power dynamics, resonant cavities, and microwave feed line interactions.
• Work with limited supervision, routinely and capably engage independent work.
• Provide recommendations as appropriate; offer feedback to managers and coworkers.
• Review drawings, etc. prepared by technical support personnel.
• Perform other tasks as instructed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Three plus years’ experience as a Pulsed Power Engineer
• Self‑guided and active team player with a willingness to learn
• Demonstrable analytical skills and “hands‑on” aptitude
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to travel (domestic and abroad)
• U.S. Citizen

Compensation

• Salary range $90,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
