Job summary

Ahlstrom is seeking a Pulper Operator PM15 (5800) at the Windsor Locks plant. This role involves staging and adding raw materials, monitoring pulper systems, and ensuring non-conforming materials are identified and reported.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and understand fluent English and basic math.
• Minimum 2–4 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Identify equipment and systems related to raw material handling and processing in non-woven production.
• Identify, segregate and label non-conforming raw materials.
• Staging and addition of raw materials to the pulper for production; operate Pulper Refiner, stock chests, Saveall and floor trench system.
• Prioritize and complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Safely clean and maintain pulper, stock chests and related equipment; dismantle and reassemble machine components as needed.
