Job summary

Domtar is seeking a Pulp Mill Operations Coordinator in Ashdown, AR. The role supports the Pulp Department with leadership, project execution, shift supervision, inventory management, and production scheduling.

You will assist maintenance planning and operator training while supporting shutdowns and after-hours call rotations. The position emphasizes safety, process expertise, and effective teamwork, with involvement in incident investigations and adherence to company protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent; TABE, CRC, or Nowlin test may be required if no degree.
• Strong knowledge of equipment/process systems.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing conditions.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership for the Pulp Department.
• Manage projects, supervise shifts, and oversee inventory.
• Plan production scheduling and maintenance activities.
• Train operators and support shutdowns and shutdown planning.
