Tyler, Texas, Pulmonologist Job Opportunity

Clinical Role:

Seeking a Faculty Pulmonologist with Cystic Fibrosis Certification to join a health system comprising 10 hospitals and over 70 physician clinics in Tyler, TX, located 90 miles from Dallas.

Position Details:

• Replace a retiring pulmonary physician who currently leads the adult cystic fibrosis program; the incoming physician will transition into this role.
• Opportunities to practice Pulmonary medicine alongside CF duties are available.
• Join a growing academic program with 60 Internal Medicine Residents and a new medical school opening in 2023.
• Attend weekly clinics and consult on hospitalized CF patients.
• Collaborate with the CF care team to meet individual patient needs.
• Participate in the CF registry, quality improvement initiatives, and research within the therapeutic development network.
• Work with the center director and CF coordinator on annual grant budgets.
• Attend the yearly North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference.
