Seeking BE/BC Faculty Pulmonary or Internal Medicine Physician to join cystic fibrosis program in Tyler, TX. We are happy to consider candidates who practice pulmonary medicine or general internal medicine in addition to their CF responsibilities. Tyler is located in North East Texas, a predominantly rural area of approximately 17,456 square miles with a population of 2 million people.
Caring for children and adults, the CF Center provides comprehensive services ranging from evaluation and diagnosis to treatment, patient education, teaching and research. The program serves a vital role in the region. We care for people who would otherwise not have access to care by a CF center. It offers the only accredited sweat-chloride testing center in the region, and our medical director works alongside physicians nationally known for their work in bronchiectasis and in non-tuberculous mycobacterial disease.
