Job description

Pulmonology Opportunities in Tyler, Texas:

1. Start date: July 1, 2018
2. Duration: Ongoing for a minimum of 3 months
3. Opportunities available: Inpatient and/or Outpatient
4. Patient volume: Up to 6 new patients per day, with 4-14 follow-ups
5. Shift: 8 am - 5 pm or 12-hour shifts from 7 am - 7 pm
6. Patients seen per day: 10-12
7. Role specifics: Hospitalist is primary; the Pulmonologist will do consults only, no admits
8. Facility: Bronch lab available for bronchoscopies
9. Conditions treated: COPD, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, asthma, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer, asbestos-related diseases, cough related to asbestosis
10. Interventional capabilities include: Bronchoscopy (diagnostic and therapeutic), laser bronchoscopy, endobronchial brachytherapy, cardio-pulmonary exercise testing

Requirements:

- Board Certified in Pulmonology

- Active Texas medical license

- Clean background for expedited credentialing
