Job description

Job Summary: Geisinger Community Medical Center (GCMC) is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Critical Care physician to join our intensivist team at GCMC in Scranton, PA. Our established Intensivist Program includes an 18-bed ICU, equipped with eICU technology, and features an innovative provider model to ensure the highest level of patient care in our ICU.

Job Duties:

1. 100% Critical Care with a 7 on/7 off schedule at this Level II trauma center.
2. Procedures include central line placement, arterial lines (upper & lower extremity), endotracheal intubation, chest tubes, thoracentesis, paracentesis, bronchoscopy, ultrasound, and dialysis catheterization.
3. Opportunity to participate in teaching and/or research.
