Position Details

• Work alongside a nationally recognized physician applying minimally invasive techniques for lung cancer detection and managing rare genetic forms of COPD.
• The group was the first in the U.S. to use innovative robotic technology for early lung cancer detection.
• The physician will participate in multidisciplinary conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the teaching of medical students and residents.
• This is an excellent opportunity at a top academic medical center with opportunities to collaborate, perform research, and teach. Candidates must be fellowship trained in Pulmonary and BC/BE. Interventional pulmonology skills are a plus.

The Clinical Scope

Established practice: Four physicians (three full-time, one part-time) and four APPs. Sleep physicians include Neurology training. Pulmonary operates five days/week. Inpatient Hospital Consults operate seven days/week. Procedural work includes: Robotic Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Debulking, Cryo. The Pulmonary Clinic handles various pathologies such as Asthma, COPD, ILD, CF, Lung Nodules/Masses, PH.
