Join Our Pulmonary Critical Care Team in Davenport, IA!

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join our dedicated group of four physicians, all working in a collaborative environment on the scenic banks of the Mississippi River. This permanent role offers a balance of inpatient, outpatient, and ICU responsibilities, ensuring a dynamic practice experience in a facility equipped with 500 beds, including 20 ICU beds.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide care in inpatient, outpatient, and ICU settings with shared call responsibilities.
• Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
• Manage daily ICU patient rounds (max 20 with NP support) and non-ICU patients (up to 10 per physician).
• Conduct admissions, averaging 5 per physician per day.
• Perform ventilation management procedures including ETT/NT/Tracheostomy, BiPAP/CPAP.
• Conduct various procedures such as central line and arterial line placements, thoracentesis, and bronchoscopy.
• Treat and manage conditions such as Asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and more.
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine (must have plans to test).
• Completion of a fellowship in Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Medicine (new graduates welcome).
• Experience with essential procedures and conditions listed in the job description.
• Preferably clean malpractice history.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Iowa medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• ACLS certification.
