Job description

Position: Pulmonology/Critical Care Physician

Large Physician-led hospital system in Missouri is seeking a Pulmonology/Critical Care Physician who is BE/BC in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease Medicine, or in the final year of such a program leading to certification. The role involves providing direct care to critically ill patients in an intensive care unit environment, including resuscitation, advanced cardiac and trauma life support, medication prescription, invasive and non-invasive monitoring, airway management, mechanical ventilation, and bronchoscopy.

Responsibilities include managing patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions, collaborating with other physicians, monitoring patient progress, evaluating treatments, and discussing test results and treatment plans with patients.

Qualifications:

• M.D., D.O., or foreign degree equivalent
• Must have or be eligible for Missouri medical license
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease Medicine, or in the final year of such a program
