Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking an RN for the Medical Pulmonary Unit on a per diem basis with day shift hours from 7:00am to 7:30pm. The role requires an Associate's degree or BSN, Illinois licensure, and CPR certification. Per diem level 1 expectations include at least 48 hours every 6 weeks, with 24 weekend hours if needed.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with customers in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
