A leading healthcare organization seeks a Pulmonary Technologist II to perform essential technical and analytical duties related to high-risk pulmonary evaluations and patient testing. The successful candidate will conduct assessments and diagnostics, maintain equipment, and support quality assurance efforts in a full-time capacity.

Purpose: Under the general supervision of the Medical and Administrative Directors of Pulmonary Services, the Pulmonary Technologist II is responsible for all aspects of the technical, analytical, and instructional duties related to high-risk procedures in pulmonary evaluation and patient testing.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Must be credentialed by the NBRC as a Certified or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist, or certified as an Exercise Specialist or Exercise Physiologist by the American College of Sports Medicine, or credentialed by the NBRC as a Respiratory Care Practitioner with one year of pulmonary diagnostic testing experience, or equivalent proficiency. Must obtain CPFT credential within 2 years of hire. BLS certification is required; ACLS certification must be obtained within one year. Ability to interact with unstable patients and operate complex medical electronic equipment is essential.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: CPR required within 30 days of hire based on AHA standards, including didactic and skills demonstration components. ACLS or BLS certification is required.
