Qualifications

• Must have RN license.
• Experience or knowledge in pulmonary care and ventilator management preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with complex pulmonary conditions on a progressive care unit.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor patient status.
• Manage ventilators and high-flow oxygen therapy.
• Titrate IV medications and oversee telemetry monitoring.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatments.
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapists and physicians.
• Adhere to evidence-based protocols to ensure quality and safety.
