Job summary

Critical Care Pulmonary and Sleep Associates is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our Pulmonary and Sleep Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in outpatient clinics. Under supervision, you will perform routine clinical tasks to deliver safe patient care and contribute to a collaborative clinic culture.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, drawing blood, administering injections, and assisting with scheduling and chart preparation across multiple Denver metro area

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Approximately 1+ years Medical Assisting experience.
• RMA or CMA preferred.
• HIPAA privacy and patient confidentiality.
• Excellent organizations and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Room patients in professional and timely manner.
• Complete vitals, draw blood, give injections, and obtain specimens.
• Reconcile chart with medical history, immunizations, medications and more.
• Prepare charts to ensure accurate patient information before visits.
• Assist Care Coordinator team to maintain clinic flow.
• Manage orders including prior authorizations.
• Handle prescription refill requests (non-specialty meds).
• Answer calls, return voicemails, route to staff.
• Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments.
• Clean and maintain exam rooms and equipment.
• Prepare exam rooms with supplies and restock as needed.
