Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester, VA, invites applications for a Registered Nurse II in Pulmonary Care on the full-time third shift. The RN will perform the nursing process, coordinate care, and educate patients and families while contributing to quality and safety initiatives.

Required: nursing degree (RN Diploma/ASN/ADN), VA/WV licensure eligibility, BLS certification, and 1872 hours of RN experience (936 hours with BSN). BSN preferred; leadership duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Meets RN I requirements and demonstrates competency in the nursing process.
• Has RN licensure with BLS certification (AHA).
• Ability to coordinate care and lead unit initiatives.
• Comfortable with hospital charting and communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional care team for safe, effective treatment.
