Job summary

Cherry Hill Free Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse for a high-acuity Pulmonary Progressive Care unit. You will provide specialized respiratory care for conditions like COPD, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, influenza, respiratory failure, and COVID-19.

Responsibilities include comprehensive respiratory assessments, managing ventilators and tracheostomy care, administering IV medications, and monitoring for early interventions and escalating needs. A current NC RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of acute care nursing experience.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state; BLS certification required.
• Ability to perform advanced respiratory assessments and manage ventilated and tracheostomy patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to respiratory patients, including assessments and early interventions.
• Manage advanced respiratory treatments like tracheostomy care, ventilators, CPAP/BIPAP, chest tubes, and oxygen therapy.
• Perform focused respiratory assessments and interventions for escalating needs.
• Administer blood products and IV medications.
• Focus on early intervention, respiratory management, and proactive patient monitoring.
