Job summary

Proforma Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pulmonary Progressive Care unit in Winston-Salem, NC. You will provide high-acuity respiratory care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You will deliver comprehensive nursing care, perform focused respiratory assessments, and intervene for escalating oxygen and ventilatory needs, including tracheostomy and ventilated patient care, CPAP/BIPAP, chest tubes, and IV therapies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with COPD, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, influenza, and respiratory failure.
• Perform focused respiratory assessments and intervene early for escalating oxygen and ventilatory needs.
• Manage specialized skills including tracheostomy and ventilated patient care, CPAP/BIPAP, chest tubes, and administration of blood products and IV therapies.
