Job summary

Temple Physicians Inc. in Yardley is seeking a Pulmonary Function/Rehab Tech to perform routine pulmonary function testing and exercise studies, and to educate clinical staff. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) and requires relevant licensure or certification.

You will participate in Home Sleep testing setup and teach respiratory care procedures. Ideal candidates have an associate’s degree in respiratory care or pulmonary function technology and 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree AMA approved school of respiratory care or pulmonary function technology required.
• 1 year experience in pulmonary rehabilitation and/or pulmonary function testing preferred.
• Licenses/certifications in pulmonary function tech or respiratory therapy are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine pulmonary function testing (spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion, airway resistance, thoracic gas volume).
• Conduct routine exercise studies (oxygen titration, 6-minute walk, resting energy expenditure) and set up for Home Sleep testing.
• Train and educate clinical staff.
