Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks a dedicated Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing pulmonary medicine practice just south of Boston.

This employed, full-time role offers collaboration with experienced pulmonologists in a patient-centered, team-driven environment. Requirements include a Master’s in Nursing or PA Studies, current NP/PA certification, and MA license or eligibility.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or PA studies from an accredited program.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification.
  • Massachusetts license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Pulmonary medicine experience preferred; new graduates with strong interest considered.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions.
  • Conduct follow-up visits and ongoing disease management for pulmonary patients.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including PFTs, imaging, and laboratory tests.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Provide patient education on disease management and preventive care.
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate closely with pulmonologists and interdisciplinary care teams.
