Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support patient care in a busy medical office setting. You will assist physicians and advanced practitioners, prepare exam rooms, and help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout visits.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team led by the supervising physician and Practice Coordinator, performing a variety of patient care duties while maintaining accuracy, safety, and compassionate service for all patients.

Qualifications

• One year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assistance and patient care to meet the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.
• Assist physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in a medical office setting.
• Perform a variety of patient care duties within a multidisciplinary team as delegated by physician and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.
