Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our patient‑centered care team. You will provide nursing assistance and patient care to support comfort, safety and personal needs across a medical office setting.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians and advanced practice providers under supervision, with duties defined after competency is established. Work hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Qualifications

• One year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician. Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.
