Job summary

Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking a capable LPN for night shift in our pulmonary care team. The role involves direct patient care under RN supervision, medication administration, and support for care plans to ensure safe and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, and patient/family education. Units include Emergency, OR, Cardiac, Endoscopy, Obstetrics, Oncology, Orthopedics, Telemetry, Dialysis, and Cath Lab under RN guidance.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN licensure required in the state of practice.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• 0–1 year of LPN experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision and assist with activities of daily living.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document care interventions accurately in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Assist in wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection as scope allows.
