Job summary

National Jewish Health is seeking a Pulmonary Function Technologist (RT/PFT) to join the Pulmonary Physiology Services team. This role involves performing high-quality pulmonary testing, operating advanced diagnostic equipment, and documenting results to inform patient care.

The position offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays, supporting work-life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Licensure: NBRC credentials (RRT/CRT) or RPFT/CPFT within 1 year of hire; Colorado license required.
• Experience: none required; strong emphasis on certification and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality pulmonary physiology testing per ATS/AARC/CAP standards.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot diagnostic pulmonary equipment.
• Document results thoroughly to support diagnosis and care decisions.
• Participate in quality improvement and mentor less experienced staff.

Education

Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy

Colorado State License to practice Respiratory Care

NBRC credentials (RPFT/CPFT/RRT/CRT)
